2021 Pricing Changes

2021-07-21T14:44:21-05:00July 7th, 2021|News|

There is no “easy” way to introduce pricing changes from a business to its valued clients.  All of us at IBD are consumers too, subject to the same costs of living as you.  We have families, responsibilities, dreams and obligations just like you, our cherished clients.  That said, IBD has experienced increasingly severe challenges that have affected the company’s ability not only to profit but, to break-even. To avoid significant pricing changes, we have worked hard over the past several years to reduce costs and employ new technologies.  However, the past two years have presented new and unprecedented business challenges that [...]

A Fungus Among Us!

2020-07-01T13:00:03-05:00July 1st, 2020|Education, Irrigation, News, Save Water|

Over the last few weeks, we have received increased calls about lawns browning, presumably from lack of irrigation from several of our accounts throughout the Twin Cities, from Blaine to Savage, Plymouth to Woodbury. We’ve dispatched techs who confirmed the function of the irrigation, we’ve increased irrigation, we’ve increased the height of our mowing decks, we’ve skipped mowing in the heat; all things a responsible vendor would do. Yet this continues. We reached out to our peer circles, and former golf course superintendent colleagues and collectively we believe we have a fungus among us (I’ve always wanted a reason to say [...]

From the meager beginnings of working out of Tim’s father’s house [...]

2019-11-25T08:27:35-06:00November 18th, 2019|Irrigation, News, Save Water, Vendor|

This month, we at IBD would like to share our appreciation for and shine a spotlight on one of our partners in the irrigation industry not just because of their products but also due to their innovation, service, and values. Weathermatic, “water with purpose,” a company that we’ve been partnering with for several years to help save our clients water and money, that really lives up to its slogan. […]
